Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how ashmont.xyz ("Ashmont", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you use ashmont.xyz and the member dashboard. We are the controller of that information. Questions: admin@ashmont.xyz.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and a password, which we store only as a one-way hash (we cannot see it).
  • Membership and billing status: your plan, trial and renewal status and Whop membership identifiers, received from Whop. Whop processes your card and billing details; we never receive your full card number.
  • Wallet information, only if you choose to connect a wallet or add a wallet address: public wallet addresses and the public on-chain balances and positions linked to them. We never collect recovery phrases or private keys.
  • Dashboard preferences: for example watchlists and portfolio settings you save.
  • Referral information: if you arrive through a referral link, the referral code, so the referrer can be credited.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs kept by our servers for security and troubleshooting.
  • Communications: emails you send us, and whether marketing emails were delivered, opened or clicked.

We use the Meta Pixel on our public pages to measure which of our adverts lead to sign-ups and booked calls, and to show our adverts to people likely to be interested. It records page visits and actions such as signing up for the briefing or booking a call. You can opt out of ad personalisation in your Facebook or Instagram settings, or block cookies in your browser.

How we use it, and our legal bases

  • To create and run your account and give you the features of your plan (performance of a contract).
  • To process memberships, trials, renewals and cancellations with Whop (contract).
  • To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems (legitimate interests).
  • To send service emails such as account, security and billing messages (contract / legitimate interests).
  • To send marketing emails about Ashmont, where you have agreed to receive them or where the law allows us to contact existing customers or people who opted in to a related product (consent / legitimate interests). You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations (legal obligation).

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Marketing emails and unsubscribing

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also email admin@ashmont.xyz. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential account or billing messages while you have an account.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that protect it, and only as much as they need:

  • Whop: checkout, subscriptions and payments (merchant of record).
  • Brevo: sending service and marketing emails, and managing unsubscribes.
  • DigitalOcean: hosting of our servers and database.
  • Microsoft (Outlook / Microsoft 365): our business email, if you write to us.
  • Data and infrastructure providers we call to show market data (for example price and protocol data APIs). We send them public data queries, not your personal information. Wallet look-ups query public blockchain data.
  • Swap and wallet providers: if you use a swap or wallet feature, the third-party provider you interact with (for example a swap aggregator or your wallet app) receives what is needed to process that request under its own policy.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business (in which case this policy will continue to apply).

International transfers

Our providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where the law requires, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Account information: while your account is open, and up to 24 months after it is closed (so we can handle billing questions and keep records), unless you ask us to delete it sooner and we have no legal reason to keep it.
  • Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (often 5 to 7 years).
  • Server logs: up to 90 days.
  • Marketing data: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only your email address on a suppression list so we do not contact you again.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and limited staff access. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and never share your wallet recovery phrase with anyone.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to a regulator. In particular:

  • EU / UK (GDPR): the rights above, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
  • Australia (Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles): you can request access to and correction of your information, and complain to us and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete and correct, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

To make a request, email admin@ashmont.xyz from the address on your account. We will reply within 30 days and may need to verify your identity.

Children

The Service is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Cookies and local storage

We keep this minimal and use no advertising or analytics cookies:

  • Session cookie (y3s): keeps you logged in. Strictly necessary; expires when you log out or after the session period.
  • Browser local storage: remembers a referral code you arrived with (y3ref) and your dashboard preferences such as allocator profile and portfolio size (y3profile, y3alsize). These stay on your device and you can clear them in your browser settings.
  • Third-party checkout (Whop) and swap or wallet tools set their own cookies when you use them, under their own policies.

Because we only use strictly necessary storage, we do not show a cookie banner. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first.

Changes to this policy

We will post updates here with a new effective date and tell members about significant changes.
